Welcome Michael Shedden
We’d like to introduce new developer, Michael Shedden. Glasgow based Michael has a degree in Maths and Theoretical Physics from The University of Aberdeen plus he undertook post-graduate studies in Cosmology! We’re really pleased that Michael’s been able to add to the growing team alongside CTO Stewart Fraser, Steven Livingstone, Anny Deery (Deery Me), Dino Squillino and Colin Walker (Everyone). The team is growing so much that we’ve taken an additional office space at the Alba Innovation centre here in Livingston. Continue reading

Public Beta now Live
Undertaking the development of a social network with a small team should not be understated, this has taken a while and is currently in Public Beta. However we are proud to announce the launch of Scotland’s first diaspora network KILTR. Our intention is to unite the 100 million Scots and affinity Scots worldwide with a new breed of Social network aimed at harnessing the warmth, knowledge and good nature of Scots & affinity Scots worldwide.

KILTR.com looks beyond Homecoming 2009
Today in time honoured tradition thousands across the globe will celebrate the life and achievements of Scotland’s most famous son, Robert Burns. The 250th anniversary of the bard’s birth also marks the start of Homecoming Scotland 2009, the Scottish government’s initiative to attract Scots and Affinity Scots back to Scotland to join in a national celebration of Scotland’s contribution to the world and provide an opportunity for the millions of Scots across the world to reconnect and engage with their heritage.
